מידע נוסף

Product description

Cleats are small reinforcement patches used to stabilize and secure cracks in wood, helping to restore structural strength at the damaged area.

To maintain the instrument’s tonal quality, it’s best to use cleats made from the same species of wood as the original. Each cleat is shaped like a pyramid,

maximizing surface contact while minimizing mass, which supports the wood’s structural integrity without interfering with its natural vibration.

These spruce cleats from Music City Bridge are specially crafted for use with the Cleatus Crack Repair System (sold separately)—the only system that lets

you visually confirm cleat placement during installation.
